Terms of Service

Last updated June 24, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Alar Inspection Report, software provided by Alar Systems LLC. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Alar Inspection Report ("the app", "the Service") is provided by Alar Systems LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("Alar Systems", "we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].

2. The license we grant you

While your account is in good standing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the app for your internal business purposes — preparing dimensional inspection reports for parts you or your organization inspect.

The app is a single, self-contained web application that runs in your browser. We retain all ownership of the software, its design, and its underlying intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the software to you.

3. Accounts and access

4. Plans, trials, and billing

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Your data stays with you

The app is local-first by design. Your drawings, measurements, and report content are processed entirely in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. The only information we hold is what is needed to run your account and billing, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your work (the app provides export and session-file options for this).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Inspection results are your responsibility

The app is a tool that helps you record and present measurements and quality data. It does not perform measurements, certify parts, or guarantee that any report is correct or complete. You — the inspector and your organization — remain solely responsible for the accuracy of measurements, the correctness of tolerances and pass/fail decisions, and the suitability of any report for its intended use.

Export formats described as "AS9102C-style" are provided for compatibility and convenience. Alar Systems is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by SAE International or the IAQG, and using the app does not by itself make any report compliant with AS9102 or any other standard.

8. Service availability and changes

We work to keep the hosted app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, improve, or change features over time, and we may modify these Terms; if we make material changes we will notify you by email and post the updated Terms here with the date above updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that results obtained from it will be accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alar Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or costs arising from rejected, reworked, or scrapped parts. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app and cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or fail to pay. On termination, your license ends; any work you have already exported remains yours.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes that are not otherwise resolved.
